My box is a Motorola RNG200N and the front panel layout is totaly different from the Pace. The "Rec" lights (there are 2 of them) and the "Mail" light are in a vertical column with this "weird" symbol in between them. There is also another symbol between the "weird" one and the "Mail" that I do not remember ever seeing it on. Thanks for your reply.

As I previously stated, this is a known issue, and Comcast's current recommendation is to create a support ticket through the above link. Outside of this, Comcast nor I have any additional information. Please feel free to reply back if you have any other questions.

OK. I think it's actually just a rebadged DCX series. It looks like a combination of a house and an @ sign? It is the MOCA icon, meaning it thinks it's communicating with another linked box.

I have posted this a couple places. I don't know what the route cause of the dvr manager error message is (service available but can't detect...). I had that a few weeks ago and things have been nuts since. I called a couple times about it, was told it was a service outage and I was either notified it was back or it started working again for me hours or days later depending on the time it happened ( a couple times now) Anyhow. It seems those outages messed up the data on my dvr so I hope the following will help those of you that can get in now and are having strange issues. Don't assume like I did that it is all server related. Errors on the boxes can cause issues also and may even lead the error in the first place?
I've been having issues with dvr manager and my main legacy dvr for several weeks now ever since an outage of the service last month when we all started getting the dvr manager service is available but we can't detect a dvr of your account etc. I ended up formatting my HD and all is well now. I have made several calls, chats etc. to Comcast and each time it would kinda work for a day or two. Last time they tried a fix it only worked for and evening then stopped working again. It's been acting odd for a while. Last year and up until i formatted it would refuse to list the show 12 monkeys online though it was programmed on the box. Recently it did the same thing with Castle and a couple other shows. Everything seemed to work except for the missing shows and of course new recordings would stop showing up all together.
I decided to format since a fairly new to us other dvr that we rarely use did not have the same issues so I figured it was FUBAR. I can only guess that the data on the dvr was somewhat corrupted and when the outage happened it was the last straw.
I would suggest that that if you are having issues like this and you have had your dvr for some time and have never formatted that you do. Note that the format will wipe out all of your recordings and your series priority list and any scheduled recordings. Also on legacy boxes (non X1) the program guide will take longer to populate than normal. Mine was formatted over 24 hours ago and still has many holes even for tomorrow so that bites since you can't schedule series or programs that have not populated yet. It's taken a few days to populate the last few reboots. The format should not erase the software or firmware and all your user settings should remain. You can google the format procedure. Do it at your own risk. Again this is for legacy moto DVRs and not X1. I assume data corruption can also happen on X1 but I am not aware of a HD format procedure or if you should even attempt it due to the "cloud" nature of the X1 service.
Error code 68
We have no signal. Error code 68 appears on the cable box. We are on Video 3 on the tv. We have no reception.
Cable box seems sluggish
Since maybe late Saturday, and certain Sunday, my box seems unusually sluggish. It's non-X1. I had gotten a DCX to replace an ancient DCT due to the MPEG4 upgrade in this area. It was nice and zippy fast.
Suddenly, it has gotten a bit slow. It keeps ignoring remote commands at times. I've tried 3 remotes, so that is not it. I also rebooted it, but no change. If I go to the list of series recordings and just hold down arrow, it pauses every 2-3 seconds rather than being continuous like it was a few days earlier when I went to make some changes.
I did notice in the iGuide diagnostics, on the Multi-Room DVR page, there is now something listed. I only have the one DVR and a DTA. I always thought that list was blank before.
search language changed to spanish
Turned on the TV this morning and tried to "search" for a particular show in the Xfinity area and everything was changed to Spanish? All other language and sounds is English. Tried changing language to English but to no avail...

All X1 remotes run on RF(radio frequencies) and most cellphones run off RF(radio frequencies) as well. This may cause the interference because anytime your cellphone is in the same room as the cable box it is trying to sync so you will be able to use it same goes for the remote. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let us know.

I would suspect that a neighbor does not have a 1 GIG filter that they should have in their house, to keep their network isolated. This is a picture of my filter. I am not sure if your house also gets one, or just the other house. (or both) Either way, call in and let them know that you are seeing your box connected to a network when it shouldnt be, as you do not have the service. Mention the filter. It more than likely result in a service call (for either you or a neighbor)

TV screen size
I recently down-graded to an Economy package and have a new box..My screen size is smaller now and I don't have an adjustment on my remote.I no longer have HD with this change but I didn't think my screen size would change.Why did this happen?
